The UofT once again has more ‘sugar babies’ than any other school in Canada

It’s no secret that unemployment has been up since the pandemic hit. But some Canadians are taking matters into their own hands. New data has been released from Seeking Arrangements that lets us know where most of their users are located. Spoiler alert – it’s more common than you think.

So the Seeking Arrangements report mainly focuses on students. It turns out that 350,000 students across the country used the platform in the past year. In fact, Canada has the third-largest population of members on the website!

So where are those students coming from? Here’s the breakdown. The school churning out the most Seeking Arrangement users in Canada at the University of Toronto. There’s no surprise there, Toronto is darn expensive! They’ve got a whopping 257 students registered.

Following U of T is the University of Alberta with 231 students on the platform. Then in third is Queens University, with 222 student users. You can check out the full list here.
