Here’s when you can see The Nutcracker in Vancouver this year

Great news, ballet lovers! The Nutcracker by Goh Ballet is returning to Vancouver this December, and tickets are on sale now.

Queen Elizabeth Theatre will once again transform into the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical kingdom, complete with life-sized toy soldiers and the notorious Mouse King. If it’s been a while since you’ve seen a rendition of the iconic holiday ballet live, we can’t recommend it enough.

Accompanying The Nutcracker, of course, is the Vancouver Opera Orchestra – one of only two professional opera orchestras in Canada.

The play itself will be directed by Co-founder Choo Chiat Goh, produced by former Principal Dancer Chan Hon Goh C.M., D.Litt, and choreographed by renowned ballerina & choreographer Anna-Marie Holmes.

Joining the Goh Ballet cast are several guest artists, including principal dancers from New York City Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
