The KidiZoom PrintCam is topping the list as one of the most-wanted toys of 2021

Whoever said that the old-world charm is completely lost has not seen this new toy camera that’s bringing back to life the whole Polaroid and black-n-white print era. Enter: the KidiZoom PrintCam by VTech! And since mostly everyone (yes, even kids) loves a good photo op, it’s no surprise that this one’s toppin’ every kid’s 2021 holiday list.

So, VTech, the popular brand that’s been making smart educational toys for kids of all ages since 1992, has recently added the KidiZoom PrintCam to its extensive list of offerings. And for any parent, grandparent or even aunt or uncle who wants the kids in their lives to not waste yet another holiday season glued to your tablet/ phone, this is THE gift to opt for.

This cute-looking camera has a built-in printer and paper roll slot that allows the young photographers to take instant prints of the shots they’re snapping. While the camera itself is coloured- even has a coloured screen- the printer is black and white for that added vintage appeal. Of course, if the coloured versions of the pics are required, kids can connect the cam to a computer under supervision (more on the supervision bit later) and print them. Don’t be impressed just yet; we’ve got more.

This digitized revival of the polaroid cam gives kids more creativity to play around with. They can not only take pictures, selfies (it has a flip lens) and videos, but they can also use stickers, borders and filters to amp them up. In addition, they can convert pics into colouring pages and they can even play games when they’re not snapping their way through the holiday.

The best part- they do all of this with your approval. The parent controls let you set daily time and print limits and even turn off games when needed.

Whether you want to keep your little ones positively occupied, keep them off your phones or finally have a seasoned photographer who can do justice to your fab holiday outfit, the KidiZoom PrintCam is a win either way. And if we’re being completely honest, we had a little too much fun with the cam ourselves, so we don’t doubt the youngsters will too.
