The CNE is holding a massive job fair in July and here’s what to know

The CNE is one of the city’s most highly anticipated events, and to put on such a big celebration, you need plenty of staff. Every year, the CNE holds a job fair to fill a bunch of roles ahead of the festivities, which run from Aug. 15 to Sept. 1, and this year’s hiring event is just a month away.

Here’s what to know before you go.

The job fair is being held at The Enercare Centre in Hall C on July 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You must sign up for the job fair ahead of time and show a ticket at the door showing you’ve registered. Registration opens on July 21, and you can check back on the event page for the link once it becomes available.

The positions the CNE is looking to fill include:

  • Short Order Cooks
  • Dishwashers
  • Food Prep
  • Front Line Service
  • Retail Associates
  • Games Attendants
  • Cashiers

According to the event page, ” Many employers hire on the spot. Please be prepared and bring: Work Permit, Government Issued Photo ID (licence, passport, etc.), and your SIN Card or Official Document,” so make sure you don’t show up empty-handed.

Good luck, Toronto!
