Sometimes, it’s nice to just dip your toes into the changing seasons, instead of diving in headfirst. And, there aren’t many better ways to do that than with the Fall Fair at the UBC Farm. The 4th instalment of the beloved fair goes down this weekend, and we’ve got the details for you!
Hosted by the UBC Farm, the Fall Fair is a real cornucopia of autumnal activities. For those looking to up their pantry game, you can expect a wide variety of vendors offering locally-grown fruits and veggies. And of course, who can pass up a stroll around the U-Pick pumpkin farm?

But, the fun doesn’t stop there. Alongside the classic options, you’ll be treated to an array of live music, food and coffee trucks, and even free tours of the farm (including a stop in with the chickens). If you’re bringing some little ones, they’ll have their hands full with education activities.
We’ve saved the biggest draws for last though. This year, the Fall Fair is bringing back its iconic pie contest, and you can sample the entries with a donation to the farm. Ready to see something off the beaten path? They’ll also be hosting a ‘weirdest veggie’ contest, and we can’t wait to see what kinds of zany shapes and sizes get to be a part of that.
Like we said, if you want to dip your toes into the fall, this is a great way to do it!
