The 26th annual Seattle Queer Film Festival returns this week with over 40 films

Now that October is here we’ll bet that at least a few of you have been going hard on streaming. After all, with so many new Netflix additions this month, it’s hard not to. While we all love a good Netflix sesh, why not check out something a little more unique like the 26th annual Seattle Queer Film Festival which kicks off this week.

The Seattle Queer Film Festival is operating in a hybrid format this year to ensure that everyone who wants to experience it, can. Festival attendees can watch all screened films at home virtually unless otherwise noted. Alternatively, attendees can opt for a true movie-watching experience and enjoy a film or two in person.

Attendees will have the chance to watch 30 feature films, 11 short films, and/or participate in 11 workshops. Films come from near and far with both American and International films being shown. And if there’s a particular topic you’re looking for like trans, QTBIPOC, lesbian, etc, the festival’s website has you covered with a handy film guide.

If you’re ready to watch the festival, keep in mind that you have a few options. You can purchase a film pack, festival pass, or individual tickets depending on how many films you want to watch. Now if you plan on watching in person you will need to provide proof of vaccination and also wear a mask inside the theatre. With that, enjoy and if you’d like to learn more you can click below.
