TELUS STORYHIVE is providing $800K in funding to local creators with inspiring stories

Do you have a documentary idea?, We’ve got some good news—TELUS STORYHIVE’s All Access Documentary Edition is here to fund 40 projects across Alberta and B.C.!

Any creator with an inspiring story to tell can pitch their concept and those selected will receive a $20,000 production grant, training, mentorship, and distribution through TELUS Optik TV.

TELUS STORYHIVE is looking for compelling local stories about community builders, health and wellness, innovative local technology, environment, agriculture and beyond. Pitch any documentary idea from your community that you are passionate about.

It’s your story and your narrative to share. We encourage you to apply to highlight any essence of your community and culture that deserves a spotlight.

TELUS STORYHIVE has supported a community of more than 18,000 local content creators across British Columbia and Alberta since 2013, providing over $15 million in funding and creating a safe space for storytellers to hone their skills and bring their projects to life. 

So, if you have a local story, submit your project idea online at www.storyhive.com/apply. Intake closes on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:59pm PT. Don’t miss the deadline!
