This week, you can explore the beauty, flavours, and culture of Southeast Asia at this annual food festival! Toronto’s Taste of Vietnam is returning and it’s free to attend.
From Thursday, August 10th to Saturday, August 12th, the fun-filled event will take over Nathan Philips Square with arts, food, music, games, and cultural parades.
According to organizers, last year’s “event exceeded all expectations with a record-breaking number of 45,000 attendees and participants.”
This year, you can experience the magic of “Sen” firsthand and immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of Vietnam.

“The upcoming Taste of Vietnam (TOV) event in 2023 celebrates the beauty and significance of the lotus, a national symbol of Vietnam,” state the event’s organizers.
“This year’s event honors the elegance and selflessness of women, particularly mothers, through the graceful image of the lotus. Immerse yourself in unique artistic performances showcasing the lotus’ cultural and culinary significance. Experience its rich symbolism in Vietnamese folklore and traditional cuisine.”
They also add that this year’s festival celebrates the creativity and talent of Vietnamese artists.
So, get excited, Toronto! The fun is about to begin at Nathan Phillips Square. You don’t want to miss it!
