A two-day Diwali festival is coming to Toronto with delicious Indian food & performances

Toronto’s getting a two-day Taste of Diwali festival this month, full of delicious Indian street food, authentic dishes, and live performances. This is an exciting event you don’t want to miss out on, so here’s what you need to know.

Get ready for this! Embrace yourself in tradition at ‘DIWALICIOUS’ – Taste of Diwali in Toronto this October 21st and 22nd.

Kicking off at Mel Lastman Square, the Indo Canada Arts Council will bring tantalizing festive food flavours to the forefront, treating all to the wonderful eats India is known for.

There will also be several food challenges to enjoy, including the Recipe Challenge, Cook-off Competition, and the Bon Appetit Challenge. These challenges will be held earlier in the day, until 5 PM on both days.

Not only will you be able to treat your tastebuds to a world of flavours, but you can also celebrate with live performances.

The two days will include singers, dancers, and more. Names like Krish Kumaran, Shyamala Dance Academy, Groove n Dance, Inder Singh, and Raqs by Ramla will be in attendance.

And of course, there will be a number of vendors selling their best items including handmade goods. Support local!

It’ll be a weekend full of fun, eats, and the best vibes.
