The largest outdoor Asian food festival is minutes away from Toronto

North America’s largest outdoor asian festival is getting ready to bring all the flavour, north of Toronto this June. Get ready for cultural events, family-friendly attractions, and lots of food at Taste of Asia.

Mark your calendars for June 27 to 29, 2025, as Taste of Asia will bring thousands of people together, “celebrating Canada’s diverse cultural harmony, cuisine, and culture.”

What to expect

Over 150 food vendors will be in attendance, and don’t miss out on the cultural performances that’ll take place. Embrace the beauty of cultural exchange and be part of an important celebration of inclusion and togetherness.

What’s being called Canada’s largest Asian festival is an annual event organized by the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham, along with the Association of Progressive Muslims of Canada.

Taste of Asia began back in 2003 during the SARS outbreak with a mandate of boosting the local economy.

According to organizers, at the time, it “also provided a platform for the community to promote the multicultural mosaic of Canada.”

It’ll take place along Kennedy and Steeles right in Markham. Are you ready to kickstart summer the right way?

We sure are. See ya’ll there!
