This low-cost Canadian airline is having a big sale on flights to Mexico

If you plan to do some travelling south of the border in the near future, now’s your chance. Low-cost airline Swoop is having an end-of-summer sale right now on flights from Abbotsford to multiple cities in Mexico. Flights are going quick though, so if you’re considering booking a fall/winter trip – the time is now!

You have until the very end of September 9 to book your flight and secure the deal. Folks can use the promo code SAVENOW to apply an extra 30% off all base fares. The discount applies to travel between November 1, 2022, and January 15, 2023, just in time for BC to plunge into an “extra deep cold” if the long-term forecast proves to be correct.

For reference, a trip from Abbotsford to Los Cabos from December 3rd to 10th is currently priced at $483.46 CAD roundtrip, including taxes & fees.

WestJet is running a similar sale across Canada, offering an additional 20% off the base fares on its already reduced fares. The deal applies to anywhere WestJet flies, and is available on September 6th only.

The travel window for the WestJet sale is September 7, 2022, to April 29, 2023, with some blackout dates in December, January, February, and April.
