Vancouver’s legendary open-air EDM parties kick off next month

If you’re a big EDM lover, you’ve likely heard of Vancouver’s legendary open-air parties hosted by Sunwave. And if you haven’t, this is your chance to take advantage of some exciting outdoor concerts that will have you on your feet, swaying to electronic beats you can feel in your bones, dancing with friends old and new.

Sunwave hosts electronic, techno, and house nights at outdoor and indoor locations across the city, including its very own Wave Space. With a roster of talented local and international artists, each event has something different to offer.

Past events have taken place at Stanley Park, Bates Park, outside the Museum of Vancouver, UBC, and “secret” locations across the city. And it looks like this year will be no different!

Open-air summer series

The 2025 Sunwave Open-Air Summer Series kicks off this June with a Mount Pleasant party at Platform9 (390 Industrial Ave.), followed by one at Strange Fellows Brewing a week later.

The closing event of the season takes place at Lions Bay on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Here are all the open-air events to look forward to so far:

Pre-sale tickets are now available for each event, with season passes to all four available online for $74.82 per person.

So get ready to rumble and consider snagging a ticket sooner rather than later.

Stay tuned for more outdoor events as they come.
