Days are getting shorter in Vancouver & the last sunset after 8 p.m. is coming up

Well, Vancouver, there’s no way around it. The days are slowly but surely getting shorter and sunset is starting earlier – but the good news is there is still time to enjoy all the summer season has to offer (as soon as this rainy ‘Augtober’ weather dissipates). So grab your picnic blankets and warm layers — because you’ll want to take advantage of later sunsets while you can!

According to Time and Date, Vancouverites can enjoy 8 p.m. (or later) sunsets until Thursday, August 29th, when the local sunset time is 8 p.m. exactly.

After that, the sun will begin setting at 7:57 p.m., until it eventually reaches 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th.

The good news is that we still have over two months before we ‘fall back’ and Daylight Saving Time ends this year.

On the bright side, there are only 200-something days until Daylight Saving Time starts ahead of next spring…

Don’t forget to catch the sunset, Vancouver!
