Grab your popcorn, Vancouver! There will be free outdoor movies downtown this summer

The season of outdoor movies and concerts is upon us, which means the countdown to summer movie nights in downtown Vancouver starts now.

Every year, Downtown Vancouver hosts weekly movie screenings at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery, all of which are free to attend. With a giant projector screen and plenty of space to lay out your picnic blankets and chairs, the square transforms into the ultimate open-air theatre.
