A free, one-day-only summer music festival is coming to Ontario Place

As if summer in Toronto couldn’t get any better, it just did. An exciting music festival is coming to the Ontario Place grounds this month, and it’s absolutely free to attend.

Emerging Artists Association and Sing! The Toronto International Vocal Arts Festival have teamed up to bring the Summer Live Music Festival to Toronto’s Trillium Park. It’s an exciting new addition to the SummerSeries, which you’ll find within Ontario Place.

And the best part about it is that you don’t have to spend a dime to see some stellar musical acts.

“There truly is something for every musical taste and so much more to be discovered in this eclectic group of award-winning, world-travelled musicians,” says Pat Silver, co-manager of Sing!

“These performances will not only amaze audiences, but they will also demonstrate that the human voice has no limits, knows no constraints of genre, language or cultural background.”

What to expect

Get ready to rock, bop and dance the night away, thanks to the sounds of world-renowned a cappella groups to acclaimed jazz bands, high-energy DJs, and everything in between.

There’s a little bit of everything for everyone, from soulful harmonies to groovy jazz, and pop beats to keep you going.

Here is the lineup of acts:

  • 4 p.m. – On That Note
  • 4:30 p.m. – DJ Undercover
  • 5 p.m. – Soundcrowd
  • 5:30 p.m. – DJ Undercover
  • 6 p.m. – WIBI A Cappella
  • 6:30 p.m. – DJ Undercover
  • 7 p.m. – Shuffle Demons
  • 8 p.m. – DJ Undercover
  • 8:30 p.m. – Swing Shift Band ft️. Metro Big Band

To ensure your time is nothing but memorable, bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the concert experience. Comfort over everything.

Oh, and of course, bring your friends, family, and soak up summer sounds at Trillium Park. To see what else is happening during the SummerSeries at Trillium Park, click here.
