Job fairs are a great way to get in front of hiring managers and network with a ton of different people. And if you’re currently on the job hunt, Vancouver is getting several summer hiring fairs that are definitely worth checking out!
From pest control to tech jobs, to summer jobs at the PNE, here are four hiring fairs coming up in and around Vancouver.
Happening downtown Vancouver on Wednesday, July 5th is a massive hiring fair at Career Zone. Hiring exhibitors include Langara College, Nurse Next Door, Para Space Landscaping, Teacher on Wheels, and the PNE – to name a few.
Plus, if you need help preparing the event or brushing up on your resume or cover letter writing skills, Career Zone provides free job search services and interview prep!

Hosted by WorkBC, this job fair is seeking out new Pest Control Technicians to work at Rentokil, Canada’s leading commercial trusted pest control services provider. Technicians will be paid $40 to $45 an hour on a biweekly basis, and receive medical, dental, and vision health benefits in addition to life insurance and retirement savings.
So if you have a flexible schedule, possess a driver’s license, and open to learning more about the area of pest control, you’ll certainly be compensated well for your time!

Although not technically located in Vancouver, this hiring fair in Richmond has too many big employers participating to pass up. Hiring managers will be present from Microserve, Vancouver Coastal Health, Moxies, Community Living BC, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the RCMP, Sun Life Financial, London Drugs, ICBC, and more to hire a range of roles, from healthcare professionals to hospitality roles.
