This Calgary museum is offering pay-what-you-can admission all month long

‘Tis the season for baked goods and bows, garland and gifts! December is here, but at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre in Calgary – Christmas came early!

With five floors, interactive exhibits and an impressive collection of photographs, instruments, costumes, awards and equipment from some of Canada’s greatest artists, the NMC is one of the city’s most exciting museums.

This month, courtesy of ATB, the attraction will be offering pay-what-you-can admission, meaning you can give more or visit for less, depending on what’s in the budget.

If you’re overwhelmed with choice, however, you can also donate the suggested rate of $15.

“As we celebrate the holidays and spirit of generosity, we’re thankful to ATB for making admission to Studio Bell more accessible to our community,’ said Andrew Mosker, President and CEO of NMC.

“We hope Calgarians join us with their out-of-town friends and family for a season of joy, music, and shared experiences.”

Interested in checking it out? Head to Studio Bell and enjoy the recently updated Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, their Randy Bachman or Speak Up! exhibitions, or the Nickelback retrospective, which will close in February 2024.

Happy exploring Calgary! You’re going to have a blast.
