Australian-born pilates studio is expanding across Canada with three new Ontario locations

If you haven’t already noticed, Toronto loves pilates. It seems like a new studio opens up every day, which is a good thing for those working on their fitness. A new STRONG Pilates location recently opened its doors in Yorkville, and it’s become so popular that expansion plans for the brand are on the horizon.

The Australian-born workout concept, which first opened in Canada in 2024, is growing in Ontario. It opened its first Canadian studio in Toronto’s Little Italy community, and three more locations followed suit: Liberty Village, The Beaches and now Yorkville.

Where is STRONG Pilates opening in Ontario?

It now plans to expand across the country with five new locations opening this year, three of which will be in Ontario.

Oakville, Kingston, and St. Catharines will see STRONG Pilates open in their communities.

“Canadians are craving efficient, results-driven workouts that prioritize longevity over burnout, all with an elevated, boutique studio experience,” shared a Strong Pilates representative.

“As the boutique fitness market continues to boom, STRONG Pilates Canada is carving out a powerful space and continues to stand out in a crowded market, appealing to Canadians who want a smarter, more efficient way to sweat.”

Though the new locations are set to launch within the year, more new studios are in the works.

You’ll just have to wait and see where.

Now, who’s booking a pilates class with us?
