Here are all the stat holidays in Alberta for 2025

Alberta adventure-seekers live for stat holidays. From the majestic Rocky Mountains to the rugged Badlands, there is no shortage of incredible things to do or see in and around the province — but the key to enjoying everything there is to offer, is to plan ahead!

Whether you’re looking forward to a relaxing weekend getaway or a family BBQ, it’s important to know when to celebrate, take a load off, or if you’ll have a day to recover.

Ready to book a flight or a campsite? Here are all of the stat holidays Alberta can look forward to in 2025:

  • New Year’s Day: Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025
  • Family Day: Monday, Feb. 17, 2025
  • Good Friday: Friday, Apr. 18, 2025
  • Victoria Day: Monday, May 19, 2025
  • Canada Day: Tuesday, Jul. 1, 2025
  • Labour Day: Monday, Sept. 1, 2025
  • Thanksgiving: Monday, Oct. 13, 2025
  • Remembrance Day: Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025
  • Christmas Day: Thursday, Dec. 25th, 2025

In addition, some will also be getting other days such as Easter Monday, Heritage Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Boxing Day off as well.
