May the 4th be with you: Here’s where you’ll find Canada’s biggest ‘Star Wars’ fans

A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, people of all ages fell in love with a young Jedi and his eclectic group of friends.

Over 40 years and several films later, kids big and small are still wild about the Skywalker saga  – but where are Canada’s biggest Star Wars fans?

If you have ever wondered which city is truly one with the force, you’re in luck because Preply has released a study in which the country’s biggest Wookieephiles were revealed.

Just in time for a major holiday, the language learning platform shared the following information with Curiocity.

“Every year on May 4th, millions of fans around the world transport themselves to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars-themed activities in celebration of Star Wars Day,” they said.

“With so many ways to join in the fun, [Preply] wanted to determine where the most avid Star Wars fans reside.”

So how and what did they find?

By analyzing Google search volume for Star Wars and related searches from 2020 to 2024, they found that the people of Toronto are actually Canada’s biggest Star Wars fans.
