Looking to pick up a couple of new plant babies this spring? There are a handful of plant sales popping up in Metro Vancouver worth checking out, whether you’re looking for indoor or outdoor plants. So get ready to peruse a variety of flowers, herbs, veggies, fruit trees, and more: Here are 5 plant sales to look forward to in the coming weeks.
North Vancouver’s Lynn Valley Garden Club is hosting a plant sale from 10:30 am to 4 pm on Saturday, May 11th in the St. Clements Church parking lot with thousands of plants donated from members’ gardens, including veggies, herbs, perennials, and shrubs.
Note that the sale accepts cash only.
When: Saturday, May 11th
Where: 3400 Institute Road, North Vancouver
Cost: Free admission
On Saturday, May 4th from 9 am to 2 pm, the Vancouver Flex Academy will be selling a range of 4-inch veggies and herbs for $1,50, ranging from cucumbers and okra to pumpkins and melons. Succulents and houseplants will be priced between $3 and $25 each!

On Saturday, May 4th, the West Vancouver Garden Club is having a plant sale at the Gleneagles Community Centre as part of their annual “Spring Fest West,” a family-friendly event with arts and crafts, local firetrucks, and a petting zoo.

This two-day plant sale will take place at Richmond’s London Farm from 10 am to 4 pm on May 11th and 12th. Here, plant lovers will find a range of annuals, perennials and succulents in a variety of planters and containers, including hanging baskets.

The Columbia River High School Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 9 am to 3 pm, and feature everything from $2-3 herbs and produce to sunflowers, zinnias, and houseplants.
