Chuckwagons will return to the Stampede in 2022 & tickets are on sale now

We may be experiencing freezing temperatures today, but that’s not going to hold us back from looking forward to the warmer days ahead – particularly those in July. Our favourite place to take in some rays during this time of year? Calgary’s bustling inner city, where ‘The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth’ AND (as announced this winter) the Stampede chuckwagons will once again take place in 2022.

This summer, under the heat of the sun, enjoy the return of a major event that has become synonymous with YYC and the sunniest afternoons.

“That pounding of hooves and trembling of the ground can mean only one thing; the world’s premier Chuckwagon event has begun!” organizers wrote on their website.

“Witness all the thrilling action over nine nightly heats as 27 Chuckwagon drivers, supported by their outriders and 162 horses vie for prize money and bragging rights.”

After the cancellation of last year’s Stampede Rangeland Derby, the best of the best will return and you can catch it all live!

Tickets are actually available now and range between $51 and $143, but hurry! You want the chance to get your hands on a pair of these bad boys. Good luck and enjoy!
