You can solve clues & run from zombies at a terrifying haunted maze in Ontario

We dare you to give this experience a try this spooky season! The Stalking Dead is returning to Ontario this September and it’s a haunted escape game experience unlike any other.

According to its website, The Stalking Dead was completely sold out before it even opened last year, which tells you something about how popular it is.

It turns out that last year’s zombie apocalypse is far from over, and puzzled scientists need volunteers to return to ground zero and help solve this terrifying mystery once and for all.

This haunted-experience-meets-escape game takes place entirely outside in a spooky corn maze, so be sure to dress for the weather.

There are some ground rules to be mindful of before you book your visit online.

Visitors are asked to put their phones away for the duration of the experience. It’s also not suitable for children under 14 years old or pets.

Games take place rain or shine, but in the event of lightning and any other extreme weather, you will receive a full refund or have your reservation transferred to another night.

There are snacks and drinks available for purchase on-site, as well as indoor escape room games and outdoor adventure games that aren’t scary.

Now that you know what to expect, it’s time to round up your crew members (you’ll need at least three of them!) and put an end to Ontario’s zombie apocalypse.

The Stalking Dead

Where: Escape Maze, 156 Cedar Bank Rd, Otonabee ON
When: Opens September 30, 2022
