Snow Valley Aerial Park is returning with golf & other new attractions in June

We’ve got good news, outdoor lovers! Not only is the Snow Valley Aerial Park gearing up to reopen in Edmonton, but there are a couple of new attractions opening right alongside it! Let’s check out just what we can look forward to this summer, shall we?

Located in Whitemud Park, the Aerial Park has become a top activity for residents wanting to get out and about during the summer months. Having originally opened back in 2017, the Aerial Park features over 100 different ‘games’, ranging from a snowboard balance bridge to a free-fall drop. Of course, visitors will be in harnesses, and there will be employees all over the structure to help out.

And, there are a couple of new things to look forward to! The Whitemud Creek Mining Company is reopening this year, after 5 decades since it shut down. Here, guests will be able to buy a bag of ‘rough’ and use a newly built structure for ‘sluicing’, a kind of placer mining.

The other attraction is admittedly more our speed, since it’s a new ‘target golf’ setup. Aiming uphill, the family-friendly experience features yardage markers and other targets up to a maximum of 175 yards. So maybe leave the driver at home, but still, it’s a little more exciting than the local driving range.

Tickets for all 3 attractions will become available on May 31st! So, get ready for some outdoor fun this summer, folks!
