There’s nothing like a scenic dip in one of BC’s many natural hot springs, and Sloquet Hot Springs is one of the province’s best-kept secrets.
Situated in Pemberton Valley, Sloquet Hot Springs is a ‘hidden treasure’ surrounded by lush, remote forest, where visitors can unwind off-the-grid in several small natural pools.
Along the southern boundary of the hot springs, a meandering Sloquet Creek sets the scene for a relaxing, rejuvenating experience.
The naturally formed hot spring is located on the traditional territory of the Xa’xtsa First Nation who have been using the hot springs for spiritual and cleansing ceremonies for generations.

Open year-round, Sloquet Hot Springs offers visitors the chance to unwind on a first-come-first-served basis.
According to its website, it’s $10 per person for a full day (cash only), and $20 per night of camping for a group of six.
The hot spring is accessible via the in-SHUCK-ch Forest Service Road going north, which is an active logging road – so be sure to drive with your headlights on!
Entrance signs to each of the Forest Service Roads advise visitors to use their 2-way radio channels if they have them.
Note that limited services are available in the nearby community of Tipella, including fuel, tire repairs, and towing.
