The ultimate beachside bash is coming to Slave Lake this summer & here’s what’s on

Summer beach days are finally here, and you can’t get much better than a visit to the stunning Slave Lake Region.

You’ll find this unmatched lakeside paradise just north of Edmonton, and we promise it’s worth the drive. The famed Devonshire Beach has butter-soft sand, refreshing waters, and an epic beach party that’s taking over this August.

The West Fraser Sand Castle Competition is one of the big draws of Beach Fest. The ultra-fine sand lends itself really well to sand sculptures, and people come up with some real masterpieces!

The Beer Garden needs no introduction… but we’ll tell you about it anyway! Get your wristband and enjoy everything from big names to craft sips. Your kids can even come along, just no beer for them of course!

If you’ve got a competitive steak, you can show off your athletic chops and register for the paddleboard race, volleyball tournament, or relay race. Make sure you sign up ahead of time if you want to participate since spots are limited!

The Slave Lake Beach Fest is a family event through and through, with lots of kids’ activities to keep the little ones occupied. After a day of sunshine and summer fun, you can rest assured they’ll be nice and tired out by the end of the day.
