Here are 7 spots where you can find ski rentals in Seattle this season

With ski season upon us, it’s time to start getting your gear ready. Whether you need to grab some new items, rent skis, or simply want to see what’s out there, Seattle has tons of great winter sports shops. Here are 7 places where you can find ski rentals in Seattle this winter.

evo Seattle

Evo has it all, ski & snowboarding gear, rentals, boot fittings, and of course winter clothing. The store is also an art gallery, music venue, and movie theatre.

Where: 3500 Stone Way N
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 AM-8 PM, Sunday 10 AM-7 PM

ProSki Seattle

ProSki offers downhill, backcountry, and telemark ski gear. You’ll find both items for sale and rent with seasonal rental packages available. You’ll also find boots, packs, clothes, helmets, avy gear, and everything else you need to hit the slopes.

Hours: Monday, Thursday, & Friday 11 AM-7 PM, Saturday & Sunday 11 AM-6 PM

Seattle Ski and Snowboard

Seattle Ski has a ton of options depending on your needs. This year they’re offering seasonal and daily ski rentals, snowboard rentals, and cross-country rentals. There are even lease-to-own options and the staff is happy to help you figure out which option is best for you.

Hours: Monday, Thursday & Friday 11 AM-7 PM, Saturday & Sunday 11 AM-6 PM

Ascent Outdoors

Ascent is unique in that its primary focus is on used gear which makes it an affordable option. They do also offer an array of gear rentals like Alpine Touring and Nordic Skis, Boots and Bindings, Split-boards, and more.

Hours: Monday-Saturday 11 AM-7 PM, Sunday 11 AM-6 PM

Play It Again Sports

Play It Again is another spot focusing on used gear. They also offer ski, snowboard, and snowshoe rentals. Of course, you can also find essential gear like helmets, poles, and winter outerwear.

Where: 1304 Stewart Street
Hours: Monday-Friday 10 AM-7 PM, Saturday 10 AM-6 PM, Sunday 10 AM-5 PM

REI

Of course, REI is going to have at least a few options for you. If need specific gear items, the outdoor goods giant has both backcountry and cross-country ski gear available for rent.

Hours: Monday-Friday & Saturday 9 AM-9 PM, Sunday 10 AM-7 PM

Sturtevant’s Ski Mart

Sturtevant’s has locations in both Bellevue and Tacoma making it a great option for those living out of the city. You’ll find an assortment. of rental packages depending on how much you want to hit the slopes this season.
