A silent disco night is coming to this iconic rooftop in Vancouver this month

This one’s for disco lovers — and if you’re a fan of the silent variety, even better! One of Vancouver’s most iconic rooftops is transforming for its first-ever silent disco under the stars. This August, Fairmont Waterfront invites both hotel guests and locals to enjoy a night of open-air dancing while surrounded by city views.

The new event, Rooftop Rhythms & Garden Grooves, will create a high-energy night to remember at the hotel’s Garden and Poolside Terrace.

Guests will don wireless headphones and choose their ehythm across three DJ-curated channels, which will be spinning everything from disco to today’s hits, all mixed live by local DJ Remsta.

According to the hotel, each ticket includes a handcrafted cocktail or free-spirited sip inspired by the coast and Fairmont Waterfront’s idyllic location.

Additional drinks and artisanal bites will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.

“Fairmont Waterfront is known for its connection to the coast, and this silent disco is a bold new way we’re reimagining that connection,” says Randall Williams, general manager of Fairmont Waterfront. “It’s a celebration of the best of Vancouver’s coastal energy, music scene, and community spirit.”

Note that the event is open to visitors aged 12 and up, so practically the whole family can get in on the disco fun.

Organizers also promise a “few unexpected delights, designed to deliver the wow factor.”

So get ready to enjoy a night of dancing, great beats, killer views, and delicious sips on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.

Tickets can be purchased online for $49 per person, plus tax.

You don’t have to be a hotel guest to turn up the volume — silently, that is!
