A new intimate Nordic spa just opened in Ontario

Ontario has a few options, and now, there’s a brand new spot joining the roster. Shale Ridge stands out from the rest, prioritizing creating an intimate environment. The spot accommodates up to 10 guests at a time with access to the Nordic Spa, a full gym, and “a modern space designed for rest, reflection, and connection.”

Yep, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or loved ones, this is the perfect place to do it.

If you have a group smaller than 10, The Loft accommodates up to four guests. The Loft has two bedrooms, three beds, three bathrooms, and a dedicated coffee nook with a mini-fridge and microwave.

For larger groups, you’ll have to book The Home Retreat. This accommodation has a private patio and lounge areas, five private bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people, three full bathrooms, and a full kitchen and dining space.

Whether you’re in The Loft or The Home Retreat, all stays have full unlimited access to the Nordic Spa, which includes:

Dry hot sauna
Aromatherapy steam room
Thermal pool
Cold plunge
Quiet room
Two change rooms
Two additional bathrooms inside the spa area

“Move through the circuit at your own rhythm — heat, cool, rest, repeat,” Shale Ridge preaches.

Shale Ridge is also known for being a cidery and winery, so if you’re looking to end your day of relaxation with a beverage, the facilities are right on the estate grounds.
