Seattle’s contemporary art museum ‘hidden’ in First Hill has reopened!

If you’re a fan of visiting local museums and galleries then you probably think that you know them all. But there’s actually a local museum that you might not know about. It’s called the Museum of Museums and is also affectionately known as MoM. And it’s a great space to see contemporary art from local artists.

The Museum of Museums is tucked away in a sneaky location. In fact, it’s in an old medical building next to Swedish Hospital. And pretty much the whole property is art-activated, with multiple exhibition spaces, additional on-site museums, and rotating installations. Plus you can also find murals and sculpture, a theater, weekly art classes, pop-ups, and a conceptual gift shop.

Right now you can check out Energy Drink by Brian Sanchez which is a neon-colored immersive space. This exhibition is all about simulation and belief. So you’ll be able to experience an “AI entity, which evolves continually from conception to blockchain eternity”. And if that isn’t cool we’re not sure what is.
