Spring has sprung in Seattle, and flowers are blooming.
And now, one of the city’s festivals is getting recognized on a national level. The Northwest Flower & Garden Festival is ranked as one of the best of its kind in the U.S.
According to a report by 10best, the festival is the 4th best in the country.

“What better way is there to enjoy a bounty of blossoms than by visiting some of the most amazing flower festivals in the country? These 10 flower festivals —selected by an expert panel and voted by readers as the best in the U.S. — allow attendees to enjoy fragrant, colorful blooms, learn about flowers and plants, and simply have a wonderful time,” states 10best.
Washington’s Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is also on the list!
So why did Seattle make the top 5?
Northwest Flower & Garden Festival is spotlighted for having a “convention center” housing everything from show gardens, seminars, vendors, and workshops.
“Designers offer cool concepts, and attendees make floral discoveries from brand-new plants to the best bugs for your garden. Many festivalgoers make an annual pilgrimage to the event from near and far — it’s that good,” they add.
