A designer Christmas tree festival takes root in Seattle with a gala & Teddy Bear Suite

Seattleites can begin the holiday season with a classic local tradition this November. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel Downtown is getting ready to display a forest of stunning designer Christmas trees. You are invited to observe the Seattle Festival of Trees and enjoy the hotel’s other activities like the Teddy Bear Suite all for a good cause.

The Seattle Festival of Trees takes place this year from Friday, November 17th until Wednesday, November 29th.

On November 18th, you can partake in the annual gala, where guests can mingle with friends surrounded by the trees, enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, a gourmet dinner, and auctions. It’s also a chance to purchase one of the trees if you feel so inclined.

Revenue from the sales goes to local beneficiaries including the Seattle Children’s Autism Center and the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel also offers an enchanting Teddy Bear Suite for the delight of “children of all ages”. Admission is complimentary, but contributions are welcomed to support the Seattle Festival of Trees and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Exact dates for the suite have yet to be announced.

While the gala and trees are expensive (with the gala entrance at $300), remember that otherwise, this is a by-donation event. Mark your calendars and prepare to experience a classic and creative Seattle pastime.
