There’s a free concert truck series in Seattle and here’s when you can catch it

Summer is the time to enjoy outdoor music and while we all have our favorite artists to see, it never hurts to switch things up. The Seattle Chamber Music Society has a unique offering for you, The Concert Truck. The truck is traveling around the city for “18 performances, 18 locations, 10 days, 8 musicians” and of course, 1000s of music lovers.

The concert truck brings the magic and excitement of the Seattle Chamber Music Society’s (SCMS) concerts to you. The SCMS musicians will join Concert Truck artists to perform a series of concerts throughout the city, all of which are free and open to the public. They take place in neighborhoods, parks, and even markets.

All you have to do is pick your preferred concert date, bring a chair, maybe a picnic or some snacks, and sit back and relax as you watch the outdoor performances.

Keep in mind this event only runs until July 2nd but there are two concerts happening daily, one in the morning or early afternoon and one in the evening. So be sure to check which concert is happening closest to you.

There is also a selection of concerts taking place at museums around Seattle, however, those concerts are not “free” as you have to pay museum admission to attend them.

With that, enjoy!
