With a new year ahead, many of you are probably looking for a little travel inspo. Conde Nast Traveler has released it’s new list of the Best Places to Go in the US in 2023 and it turns out you don’t have to go far. Why? Well because our very own city made the list.
National travel is a favorite pastime of Americans whether its cross country road trips or flights to theme parks. It’s a pastime thats perhaps gotten even more popular as international travel has been disrupted over the past few years. With that in mind, Conde Nast has gathered destinations worth visiting ranging from the American West all the way to the U.S.-territory islands of the Caribbean.

The list appropriately had 23 inclusions in no particular order.
Seattle made the list because of cultural hotspots like the Central District with local businesses like Simply Soulful, Métier Brewing Company, and Ms. Helen’s Soul Bistro highlighted. That is juxtaposed with a mention the city’s center of development, the Amazon dominated Denny Triangle.
Of course, the waterfront and destinations like the aquarium and new waterfront park were mentioned. It’s a great reminder that there’s plenty to see in and around our city.
