This Seattle spring festival will have free pottery and painting classes

Spring is a great time to take up a new hobby, and this Seattle festival can get you started. Beacon Hill Festival takes place next month, and it will host free classes! Here’s what to know.

According to Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), Beacon Hill Festival will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 11am to 4pm at Jefferson Park.

The spring festival will have free pottery, painting, as well as gardening classes, and you will be able to take your own projects home!

The workshops will run every 45 minutes, and you just have to walk up to register.

Not only that, this family fest will also have live music, bounce houses, food trucks, kite-making activities, as well as a talent show.

Sounds like a full day is already planned for you!

June 1st is looking like a busy one in the city, as Seattle Pride is also hosting Pride in the Park on that day at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. We love festival season!
