Dino-score: Science World’s newest exhibit is all about the T. Rex

RAWR!! XD. We hope you’re down to clown with a dino, because the new “T.Rex: The Ultimate Predator” exhibit opens at Science World later this month! Focusing on what is easily one of the most recognizable dinos ever, this new exhibit will provide kids and adults alike with a fun and immersive option for their next afternoon out.

Kicking off on February 26th, “T.Rex: The Ultimate Predator” will provide a full rundown of the Tyrannosaur family, from fossil casts to a ‘roar mixer’ to figure out what they may have sounded like. During your visit, you’ll be learning about how the ferocious dinosaur might have spent its life some 66 million years ago.

And of course, that includes what it looked like as an adult! The main attraction of the new exhibition is full-sized model of the deadly ol’ dino, complete with patches of feathers for the most up-to-date representation possible. What’s more, there’s a full-scale skeleton to check out, as part of a ‘shadow theatre’ that will have the 40-foot shadow ‘come alive’ and show visitors how it might have behaved.

So, whether you’re planning a family-friendly outing or just want to feel like a kid again yourself, keep this new exhibit coming to Science World in mind!

T.Rex: The Ultimate Predator

When: Opens Saturday, February 26th
Where: 1455 Quebec Street
