A spicy edition of Science World After Dark is coming to Vancouver in time for Valentine’s Day

Science World’s popular After Dark series is back just in time for Valentine’s Day, and it’s bringing Sex Ed back in a whole new way. In a night where hands-on science meets seduction, Science World is providing a fun, immersive space for guests to get a little curious and wild.

The night will feature cheeky and educational Sex Ed Trivia, where guests can test their knowledge, bust some myths, and get their pressing questions answered in a lively atmosphere.

Taking place in the Science Theatre, trivia will be hosted by Queer Sexual Health Educator and Sexologist in training, Alysha. A big believer in education as empowerment, she’s on a mission to make sex ed more accessible and enjoyable, according to Science World.

And if that’s not spicy enough for you, there will be live pole dancing at the Centre Stage throughout the night, with additional side-stage performances by TANTRA’s pole dancers on the 1st floor in Puzzles & Illusions. Those curious about the art of pole dancing can chat with performers directly, who are available to answer questions and connect with guests about the expressive form of dance.

As always, there will be wine, beer, and alcohol-free drinks available for purchase to complete the experience, as well as popcorn and snacks from the Snack Lab, and food from Triple O’s.

So whether you’re bringing a date, going with friends, or going solo, this night is set to get your pulse racing.

Note that doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are limited, so it’s best to grab yours ahead of time if you’re planning on attending. Tickets are priced at $44.95 per person and are available online.

Note that all Science World After Dark events are 19+.

You might just find the spark you’ve been missing this Valentine’s Day.
