Ho-ho-how to: Calgary has a school where you can learn to be just like Santa Claus

Few characters have made their mark quite like Ol’ St. Nick. From the swanky red suit to his giving spirit, it should come as no surprise that many want to be just like him. In fact, you can attend Santa School right here in Calgary and learn to dress, walk and talk like the icon.

From parties to meet-and-greets, being able to channel the big man himself can be incredibly rewarding – but not just anybody can get paid to imitate Kris Kringle.

It takes years to perfect the craft – but the Calgary Santa School has made it their mission to help you on your way.

Though their 2023 classes have come and gone, they are currently taking students for the fall of 2024 and all it will cost you is your time and $1,000.

“There’s more to being Santa than gluing on a beard and jamming on a suit.,” they explain.

“That’s why Santa School provides training to new and experienced Santas.”

If of course, you’re not interested in putting on the hat and belt, the school also rents out their best.

Calgarians throwing holiday parties, or who just want to make the season merry ans bright, can actually request a visit from Mr and Mrs. Claus or their elves.

Whatever you decide, you’ll also be given the option to have them show up in the ‘Santa Truck,’ a drive-thru concept with a full Christmas scene in the trunk.

Interested in being or borrowing Father Christmas? Head to their website now and enjoy!

It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
