There’s a winter event happening in Calgary & it’s supporting local charities

The holidays are officially here, and that means it’s time to gather and celebrate the giving spirit of the season.

The second annual Rümi Winter Wonderfest is happening in Calgary on Sunday, December 10, at The Commons at ATCO Park, and if last year’s success is any indication, it’s going to be a hit!

This family-friendly winter event is hosted in partnership with Rümi, ATCOenergy, and Blue Flame Kitchen to bring Calgarians together and support local charities.

All ticket proceeds from the event will be going directly to support Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta, a non-profit organization that helps families build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.

What To Expect:

Prepare for holiday crafts, cookies, story time with Mrs. Claus, fireside carolers, face painting, and more. We have it on good authority that Santa himself will be flying in from the North Pole, so you can snag a photo and meet his reindeer!

Toy Drive for WINS

Spread some extra holiday cheer to women and children across Calgary. Bring a brand-new unwrapped toy to donate to the Women in Need Society (WINS) at the winter event.

Prepare for wholesome fun and a good helping of holiday cheer. Last year’s event completely sold out, so make sure to get your tickets online before it’s too late!

Where: 5302 Forand Street SW Calgary
