The adorable village of Warkworth, Ontario is located less than two hours outside of Toronto in the beautiful Trent Hills of Northumberland County.
And Warkworth is as charming as it gets. You’ll find it surrounded by seven picturesque rolling hills.
According to Warkworth Business Association, the village offers a little bit of everything for everyone who enjoys “hiking, gardening, art, shopping, music, theatre or simply enjoying fresh, country air.”
It’s described as “a farming community and a centre for artistic endeavours.”
As for outdoor lovers, the village boasts its Millennium Trail.
Per Ontario Trails, it spans 2.6 KM, is wheelchair accessible and offers a panoramic picture of “the surrounding tree-covered drumlins, forests, uplands and valleys.”
It’s truly a site to discover.
So if you’re a sucker for that small-town vibe and would love to see the stunning displays of autumn foliage, Warkworth is worth the trip.
