Glamping season: You can stay at this cozy riverside retreat in Chilliwack this summer

Did someone say summer retreat?? If you’re looking for a peaceful place to enjoy the remainder of summer and rejuvenate by the river before fall rolls around, we’ve got the perfect Airbnb stay to toss your way. This cozy A-frame in Chilliwack River Valley is not only by the riverside – but it’s also surrounded by mountains and lush forest, perfect for those seeking to fully immerse themselves in BC’s stunning nature.

Guests can enjoy the sounds of the rushing river and forest views from bed and soak up every last bit of summer. In terms of accessible outdoor activities, guests can spend time fishing, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, and much more.

Now, for the space. We think the phrase ‘tiny but mighty’ is especially fitting, as the cabin is complete with key ‘glamping’ accommodations. AKA – a kettle and sink for doing dishes and freshening up, a compost-style toilet, and RV-style plumbing. There’s also a space heater and heated blankets to cozy up in if there’s a chill in the air, but the hosts still recommend you bring warm layers during the colder months.

One thing to note before heading to the retreat is that most will lose cell service while driving over to the Valley. However, they do offer WiFi to their guests, so you don’t have to be completely disconnected.

And that’s the retreat, folks! We hope you’re able to get in at least a couple of staycations before the summer’s end!
