Ripley’s Aquarium is hosting a spooky adults-only Halloween party

Forget ghosts and vampires! This year, you can attend a Halloween party at Ripley’s Aquarium with real-life creatures that are even scarier than the ones in your favourite horror movie.

Dark Waters is making a comeback at the aquarium this October for a spooky 19+ party surrounded by sharks and other underwater predators.

“Spend the scariest night of the year with all our creatures of the deep as you explore the depths of the Aquarium while enjoying live music, specialty bars and spooky snacks,” the description says.

Costumes are strongly encouraged and a costume contest will be held at the event with tons of epic prizes up for grabs.

Food and drink tokens will be available for purchase with debit or credit cards only.

Ripley’s Aquarium always has unique events going on to allow the public to engage with its underwater creatures in unique ways.

Every second Friday of the month until December, the aquarium hosts cocktail parties with live jazz performances.

The show starts at 7 p.m., and you’ll have until 11 p.m. to enjoy the sounds of a live jazz band while you sip cocktails and take in the fascinating views.

In February, Ripley’s hosted romantic dinners under the sea with tables inside the shark tunnel. Talk about an unforgettable Valentine’s Day.

If you want to mix things up this Halloween, the aquarium is where you need to be!
