One of the longest-running music festivals in Western Canada is in BC this summer & here’s what’s new

If you’re in search of a wild, good time this summer, you can’t do better than Victoria’s iconic Rifflandia Music Festival. One of the largest of its kind in BC, the festival has hosted everyone from Lorde to Salt-N-Pepa in years past, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.

As one of the longest-running music festivals in Western Canada, Rifflandia always brings its A-game. Supported by a longstanding community of creatives in Victoria, the fest offers guests the chance to indulge in artisanal local eats, craft beverages, and of course, enjoy a weekend of music and dancing.

This year, Rifflandia will take place at the Matullia Lands at Rock Bay for one weekend only – a shift that includes making the entirety of the festivities all-ages, accessible via one site.

“For the past 17 years, Rifflandia has served a diverse and creative music-forward community, and throughout that time we have always maintained a spirit of reinvention,” says Nick Blasko, President & CEO of Rifflandia Entertainment Co. “Innovation is what drives us as we continue to present the best live music experiences in Victoria.”

“The lands at Rock Bay have served as an important gathering point for generations, and we look forward to continuing and building on this powerful cultural legacy,” says John Rice, Operations Manager of Matullia Holdings.

Rifflandia 2024 will take place in Victoria from September 13th to 15th.
