A retro arcade filled with old-school games and snacks is coming to Toronto

Talk about a blast from the past! Hotel X Toronto is bringing back its popular Retro Arcade next month. Here’s what to know so you can join in on the fun.

Starting Feb. 13 and running until March 22, 2026, Toronto’s only luxury lakefront urban resort is pressing play, bringing back its ultimate gaming experience.

What to expect at Retro Arcade

Transforming the hotel’s Kandy Gallery, Retro Arcade will offer an all-access pass for players to fall in love with classic gaming all over again. Relive timeless favourites and even some newbies, including Monster Kart, 8-player Foosball, Extreme Shot, motorcycle racing, Dance Dance Revolution, and so much more.

There’s also a new addition to the gaming experience. Need a break? Head on over to the on-site vending machine stocked with retro favourites.

“Retro Arcade brings people together in a way that feels genuinely fun,” said Matt Black, Director of Marketing and Revenue at Hotel X Toronto.

“Whether it’s a family outing, a competitive date night, or friends reliving their favourite games, it adds a sense of play and nostalgia to the hotel that guests really connect with.”

How much are tickets?

Tickets to Retro Arcade are complimentary for hotel guests. But if you’re in the area and simply want to enjoy all the gaming fun, tickets are $27.18 for an all-day play pass.

Tickets can be purchased directly from Hotel X Toronto or via Eventbrite.

When is Retro Arcade open?

Retro Arcade will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Now get ready for some friendly competition and face off against your besties. We’ll see you there, Toronto!
