Another month, another roundup of rentals to check out around Edmonton! We’ve got quite a bit of diversity to show off too, from the super cheap to the high end, but all under $1,200 a month. Let’s see what’s out there ahead of the summer, shall we?
Here are Edmonton rentals to check out right now, courtesy of Rentals.ca.
11819 106 Street NW – $549+
We’re starting with some very affordable options, even by Edmonton’s standards. This Westwood development is offering ‘micro-suites’ starting at a mere $550/month. Luckily, you’ll still get your own bathroom, and you’ll be just a couple blocks away from Plaza Bowling!
Moving over to Queen Mary Park, we get into more traditional housing that’s still inexpensive as heck. While studios here start at $626, an even better deal would be finding a suitable roommate and going for the 2 bedroom layout, which comes in at $925.

Maybe you’re thinking Strathcona is the place to be… we’ve got picks there as well! Located just a few blocks from the farmers’ market, this offer comes with heat and water included. And if that wasn’t enough, you can also get a free month’s rent if you sign on to a full year lease.
Just down the street from the above pick, we come to one of the city’s most well-known buildings, thanks to the massive mural on one side. Luckily, the interior lives up to the hype, with modern spaces and amenities for you to enjoy.
Back downtown we go, with a building just steps away from the Fairmont Hotel. The interiors are decent, but we’re more interested in having a private pool and gym to enjoy on the amenities front. That’s a few hundred bucks a year we’re saving right there.
This list wouldn’t be complete without at least one townhouse option. Luckily, we’ve found one in Rundle that combines both space and convenience. Wake up on a fine summer morning, go for a walk around the neighbourhood/River Valley and come back to a little BBQ. Sounds nice to us.
It only tracks that our most expensive pick would be the most luxurious. Starting at close to $1,200/month for a studio, this pick offers classic amenities like a gym and an outdoor patio to take in the River Valley views. But, you’ll also get up to 2 months’ rent free when signing on for certain leases, which does bring the price down a little bit.
