There’s a free glass arts experience in Seattle this weekend

Looking to get out and about this weekend and experience one of Seattle’s most iconic arts scenes? Check out Refract Seattle, a city-wide celebration of the PNW’s glass art scene and artists. Here’s what the celebration entails.

Refract Seattle takes place Thursday, October 12th until Sunday, October 15th. Programs include open artist studios, live glass blowing, gallery tours, and artist talks.

When it comes to open studios, you can visit artists like Carol Milne, Milo Snyder, and Karen Seymour. What’s even better is that a complimentary shuttle will take you to visit a loop of each open artist studio on both Saturday and Sunday. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours and is one of the best ways to enjoy Refract.

When it comes to attending events, many are free, some are by reservation and some do require you to purchase tickets. As such, it’s in your best interest to plan ahead and purchase those tickets now.
