Private swim anyone? Here’s how to get this dreamy pond to yourself near Toronto

It’s safe to say that you won’t find anything else like this an hour outside of Toronto. This cabin is nestled in a 15-acre forest and it faces your own private swimming pond.

The home is called Cabin on the 9 and it even has its own Instagram, filled with photos of people soaking up the gorgeous surroundings near Orangeville, Hockley Valley.

It’s described as the “perfect couples weekend retreat,” and the charming cabin is just big enough for you and your favourite person.

Relax comfortably in front of the wood-burning stove, sleep under the A-frame roof, and wake up to views of your own aqua-blue clay pond.

The cabin has a kitchenette and compost toilet, but you’ll also have access to the main Victorian house for use of the kitchen, gym, and private washroom.

While the private swimming pond is best enjoyed in the summer months, this Airbnb is a lovely place to stay in the winter too.

Snowshoes and hockey sticks are provided for you to make the most of the outdoors, and you can make a campfire to stay toasty under the stars.

If that’s not enough to convince you, this property has gotten hundreds of incredible reviews from people who say that it’s just as stunning as it looks in the pictures.

At the time of publishing, there are still plenty of available dates to book Cabin on the 9 this September and October.

You can learn more about it on their website or book your stay through Airbnb.
