This lavender festival in Ontario has stunning field tours, live music & food

Summer may be a couple of months away but if you’re anything like me, you like to plan ahead to have something to look forward to! Pack your car and plan a road trip to Prince Edward County this summer as the annual Lavender Festival gears up for another rendition.

Here’s what you need to know about the 2024 Lavender Festival.

The festival will run for two weekends in Prince Edward County featuring food, entertainment, and of course, stunning rows of lavender.

Stroll the stunning fields on July 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th.

Whether you need to spruce up your Instagram feed, have a day out with a pal or an outing with the family, this all-ages event is the perfect opportunity!

Tickets will be available at the gate so no need to purchase ahead of time.

It will cost $12.50 per adult for entry, while children 12 and under can attend for free

The lavender farm features any cultivars of lavender, offering a myriad of colours, scents and tastes.

According to the Prince Edward County Lavender Farm, “Some of our cultivars are praised for their exceptional essential oil qualities, while others are best kept for culinary creations or crafts.”

Make sure to pick up a gift at the farm’s shop while you’re at the festival. Pick from goodies such as lavender soaps, creams, essential oils, and even lavender-flavoured treats.
