Here are some of the best ways to celebrate Pride in Edmonton this month

Another year has come and gone, which means Pride Month has arrived in Edmonton once again!

A celebration of love, light, and resiliency, June will feature numerous incredible parties, panel discussions, workshops, and picnics with the 2SLGBTQ+ community at their forefront. However, to participate to the fullest, you’ll need to plan ahead.

Whether you’re a member or an ally, the next 30 days will be fun-filled and could serve as a learning experience, as well as a way to meet and mingle.

Not sure where to go or what to do? Here are just a few of the biggest events that you can enjoy in 2025:

Pride Kick-Off

Ready to get things started? Featuring music, a dance floor, and drinks, Edmontonians can celebrate this year’s pride at the 2025 kick-off party with DJ Lady Luck. The very best part? It will only cost you $5 to attend!

When: June 6 at 10 p.m.
Where: 10220 – 103rd St. NW, Edmonton
Cost: $5

Summer Block Party Series: Pride

Free and fun? What could possibly be better? This June, check out a huge block party in Edmonton’s Entertainment District. Here, you can grab a drink and enjoy it on the streets, watch drag performances, listen to love music, and get some fresh air with the whole family. From face painting and chalk to bubbles and jump rope, it’s going to be a blast. Enjoy.

When: June 7 at 3 p.m.
Where: 10012 101A Ave. NW, Edmonton
Cost: Free

Pride in the Park

This June, get some fresh air, wander a market, enjoy performances, and take in the live music at Stony Plain’s Pride in the Park. It’s free to attend and will take place between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

When: June 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 4815 44th Ave., Stony Plain, Alta.
Cost: Free

Celebrate Your Pride: All Ages Drag Show

Category is: Pride! This June, check out the all-ages drag show and fundraiser at the Unitarian Church of Edmonton. Tickets are only $7, so you won’t want to miss it.

When: June 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 10804-119th St. NW, Edmonton
Cost: $7

3rd Annual Gay AF Market

Featuring over 60 local 2SLGBTQ+ vendors, allies, and friends, the 3rd Annual Gay AF Market returns, but don’t be late. Those in line early will receive a ticket to win one of 25 gift bags filled with swag and surprises.

When: June 22 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Chew Pride BBQ

Hungry? The Chew Project will be hosting a Pride BBQ for youth and young adults on June 27. Grab a friend, family member, or special someone and enjoy drag performances, food, ice cream, and more. It’s free!

When: June 27 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
