Haida Gwaii (meaning “islands of the people) is located on the “edge of the world,” with some of the richest Indigenous history in British Columbia. This includes the long-uninhabited 19th-century Haida village of SG̱ang Gwaay, as well as the scenic village of Port Clements, which is known for its heritage and charm!
Centrally located on the largest island in Haida Gwaii, Graham Island, Port Clements is known by locals and visitors alike for its coziness and breathtaking views, which extend to some unforgettable sunsets and rainbows, according to the Village.
It also offers visitors easy access to the nearby Masset Inlet and the forest beyond, making it a prime spot for paddling, kayaking, fishing, and more.
